The Killers – Imploding the Mirage

Sometimes it takes a little courage and doubt/To push your boundaries out beyond your imaginings. Brandon Flowers résume bien l’affaire dans la dernière chanson d’Imploding the Mirage. Découverts en 2004 avec le multi-platiné Hot Fuss, les Killers avaient jeté le trouble avec les disques suivants. Surtout avec Day & Age… Sur ce disque, Flowers assumait tout et perdait dans la bataille quelques fans.
Mais ce natif de Las Vegas a tenu bon et aujourd’hui les Killers ont une discographie formidable et sont surtout en pleine forme. Nés au début des années 2000 avec Interpol et les Yeah Yeah Yeah’s, les Killers sont les seuls aujourd’hui capables de sortir un disque intéressant et de remplir des salles conséquentes.
Dopés par le producteur Jonathan Rado, les Killers font se rencontrer les Pet Shop Boys et Bruce Springsteen et vont donner des orgasmes à tous les fans de New Order.
