Blur réédité

Pulp il y a quelques années, Suede l'année dernière; c'est donc logiquement au tour de Blur de se faire une nouvelle beauté avec la réédition complète de ses disques. EMI n'y va pas avec le dos de la cuillère et propose un joli coup de chiffon à poussière.

Sir Brett Anderson et sa bande avaient frappé un grand coup l’année dernière. Pour moins de 15 euros, on pouvait se faire une manucure avec le nouveau costume de Dog Man Star. Même tarif cette année avec l’ensemble des disques des Londoniens.
Réalisée par Frank Arkwright et chaperonnée par l’omnipotent Stephen Street, la remise à neuf de la calandre est une bonne nouvelle pour les Albarniens de tout poil.

Oui, ça calme. Les gens d’EMI ont le sens du commerce et proposent le tout pour moins de 150 euros ou les disques à l’unité.

Le contenu? Il est connu en majorité depuis des lustres par les fans. Des faces B à la pelle (certaines de toute beauté – Black Book – et d’autres qui pourraient être des faces C) et des versions live plus que sympathiques.

Pulp, Suede, Blur… Il reste une carte du carré de la Brit Pop. Oasis. Qui se fout royalement du monde au niveau des disques. Deux compilations ne comportant aucun inédit et des éditions qui datent. Et les Mancuniens ont visiblement des trésors cachés. Les faces B de Blur sont bien gentilles mais n’est pas Noel Gallagher qui veut. Un type qui claque The Masterplan en face B doit avoir quelques secrets bien gardés. Vite!
