Le dernier album de The National nous a pris par surprise et cette chanson qui lui donne son titre nous a étreint dès la première écoute. Son clip animé par Bernard Derriman (Bob's Burgers) est un monument d'humanité simple, d'introspection universelle.

All I am is shreds of doubt. Et pourtant ce titre est lumineux et plein d’espoir. Le spleen de Matt s’efface dans cette poésie simple des images et cette chanson doudou. La trompette volute et la voix de Phoebe Bridgers nous caresse et nous donne du baume au cœur.
