9 novembre 1998. Nada Surf partageait la scène du Transbo de Lyon avec Ellioth Smith, Sunhouse et Quasi. Inutile de dire que la soirée fût excellente. L’effet de proximité sans doute. Et depuis, on continue de surfer et de se laisser aller sur ces mélodies imparables comme sur ce Second Skin qui rappelle la dissociation dans Severance. On a du mal à être nous même alors on se construit une carapace ou un double. Mais peut-être faut-il suivre ce bon Nietzsche qui nous interroge et nous conseille : « Que dit ta conscience ? Tu dois devenir l’homme que tu es ».

Nada Surf sera en concert au Transbordeur à Lyon le lundi 24 février avec en prime les immenses Fontanarosa.
