Comme souvent en quelques mots, il peint les meurtrissures de l’âme mieux que quiconque. Et écouter Cohen chanter de sa voix inimitable de vénérable patriarche « And now you’re gone, now you’re gone, as if there ever was a you who held me dying, pulled me through, who’s moving on, who’s kidding who » sur une pincée de rebetiko est assez bouleversant.
